Thanks Wayne,

The updated 14 bolt has more leaf springs than the 72 and it doesn't have any spacers on the springs. Will drop the rear about 2.5 inches. I think It should be no problem. I will also have to measure the wheel wells to make sure it won't bottom out.

What tire size did you go with?

To tell you the truth I don't remember. I finished it last March and promptly sold it. Since then I built a 72 El Camino and am knee deep in a 78 pickup build. I also have that CRS deasease. (Can't remember sh*t). I had to remove leafs too, mainly cause it was soo stiff.
