I guess it's just another attemp at flattery

First, they copied Carter's AFB, and now it's a Holley copy.. Have they no shame??

I suspect it is more a case of Holley spinning off their low volume or unprofitable sections of the business. I fully expect to see the day when Holley no longer sells carburetors.

Don't forget they were manufacturing Qjets for a while too.

Re: I guess it's just another attemp at flattery

I would walk before I put a Holley carb on a vehicle. (Based on several attempts), to tune them. Then there are folks who love them to death. I have great success with AFB copys and qjets. If they can sell them, I say go for it.

Re: I guess it's just another attemp at flattery

I believe Weber makes both the Carter and edelbrock afb carbs on the same line , guess Edelbrock bought rights to make Holley clones too

Have Holleys on most of my performance engines never a problem . My SS 396 had a Holley from the factory it was optional and the cast iron manifold is embossed with Holley . It now has a 496 with a 770 Avenger .
