Anthes 153 turn signal wiring help request

I recently acquired a 55 Cameo and the wiring is a mess.
Two of the turn signal wires are disconnected and I want to wire it up correctly.
The white wire was connected to switch power on ignition.
The Green and Red wires were cut.
The Black wire goes to the turn signal switch as does the Yellow one.
The Yellow wire appears to only power a small light bulb.
The Black wire goes to the constant contact strip so regardless of where the turn signal lever is positioned, it is always making contact.

Based on studying the internals of the switch, I've figured out that the green wire is for right signal and red is for left.

How do I make these wires connected so that everything works as it should?

My park lights are 1156 so can I assume that the truck never had front turn signals? How can I make them turn signals leaving the 1156 bulbs in as I suspect? I can imagine that a park light that "flashes" on/off serves as a turn signal, even in the dark with headlights on.

I also need to know how the flasher gets wired into all this... I struggle at times with wiring as it's not my strong suit.

Here are some more diagrams to help you sort out the wiring . It appears that you do not have enough wires in your switch for the front and rear turn lights, or the stop lights. In most of these the green and red wires are for the front turns, and the gray and black are for the rears.

The solid black wire is probably for the ground to the switch which will let the light in the switch blink when the yellow wire is powered by the flasher power wire, to indicate that the lights are flashing.

You will have to run a power wire (fused) from the key switch to the flasher and then run a wire from the flasher to the switch to power the wires to the lights.

With a 4 wire switch like that you cannot run the stop lights & turn lights off the same bulb. You will need separate rear lights for the turn signals. Or a 7 wire switch. The yellow wire goes to the flasher. The red wire to both left front & rear turn & the green to both right turns. The black wire comes from the flasher to the pilot ind. bulb. It requiers a 3 prong flasher. The switch must be grounded to the column for the ind. light to work. You may have to scrape a little paint off to get a good ground.

So today I checked with my test light and found no power at yellow wire at flasher.
The power wire had power as did the black.
When I tested the green it had power in either turn, as did the red wire but neither flashed.
Is my Anthes 153 screwed?
Any suggestions?

Update.
I tested the flasher and found it you be not working. I purchased a new one and installed and tested with a test light 1156.

It now flashes but will flash to indicate both turns. If I test for left, it flashes and if I only change the turn signal lever to right, the bulb still flashes. It does not light or flash when lever on turn signal lever is in the neutral (not turning) position.

I gave the bracket that holds the turn signal a separate ground to ensure its grounded and this made no difference in operation.

Is my turn signal screwed?

For the record, I figured it out.
There's a toggle switch on the Anther 153 that serves as a flasher switch when turned on making both lights flash. Turn it off, and the turn signal work perfectly!

Yes, you guys were very helpful. The 4 wire help was especially helpful in that I intend to run the turn signals in the backup bulb location. My apologies for not explaining that part.
