correct gap for spark plugs

Hi folks:
I already bought a set of ac delco spark plugs 41-905 19301809.
what would be the correct gap for a 305, 84, 4 barrels.
or are they already to be installed?

thank you

Re: correct gap for spark plugs

.045 is the standard gap for plugs w/HEI.
Never assume plugs are "pre-gapped'' even if they are advertized as such. They get bounced round a lot in shipping. It's best to KNOW what your plug gap is by doing it yourself.
