how well does it work

how well does vinyl die work does it stay on pretty well or does it rubb off on to you or your clothes i was wondering, i am wanting to die the marron seat in my truck black to match the rest of the cab

vinyl dye works well on dash pads, door panels, or anything that doesnt have too much traffic. The seat doesnt apply! If you are on a budget(been there), you might give it a try, but from experience......it will be a short term deal. crazyL

I've had good luck on dashpads and seats; just make sure you follow the directions to the letter, and that usually means a really clean surface before you spray...

While I have not done a seat, I have done all the other vinal with decent results. I wouldn't recomend doing the seat. I have an arm rest that the die is flaking off. I think I would just find a nice seat cover.
