removing lower a-arm bump stops???
To all those that have removed their bumpstop and bracket, please let me know how you did it.

I just drilled out the spot welds and then gound it smooth.... pretty easy

I torched mine off, & left the steer stops in place, then welded a pc of flatstock to the steerstop to stiffen it. the pc of the bumpstop that was spotwelded to the a arm is still there.....

Thanks on the tip for the spot welds. Any problems without any steering stops?

Without knowing more of your plans, keep in mind that if you do that and you hit a big bump of pothole, your axle could hit the frame. I just cut mine so that the U-bolts would hit just before the axle hit the frame.

that's ok brad...I do that sometimes too. I'll be putting a snubber in the c-notch when I do it.
