question on gas vent tube
Quick question for you guys, if I use lets say a boat filler neck for my blazer tank, what do I do with the vent tube? Do I just cap off the tube with a filter or something? Pics would help.
thanks in advance |

Re: question on gas vent tube
If you're meaning the vent tube from the gas tank, if you plug this off, good chance you will spill fuel down the side of you truck as you fill up and the tank burps out trapped air. This vent allows air to escape out the fuel tank as you fill up. It might make filling up a pretty slow task.

Re: question on gas vent tube
Yeah, I know I just can't cap it off.
Like I said, the boat filler neck/cap isn't vented, so I need another way of venting it. |

Re: question on gas vent tube
You might run it up as high as you can and put a filter in it. If you can run it inside the wheel well that might be a high hidden location.
