Rattle Can?

I see the term rattle can being thrown around here on the forum a lot. I understand it to mean spray paint from a can, but what kind of spray paint?
Is there a certain brand Rustoleum for instance that works best?
I just picked up a C20 that I would like to get some white paint on the top.
I also want to spray the interior door panels and was wondering which paint works best for that application?
Thanks for any replies and direction.

Re: Rattle Can?

rattle can is any paint in the handheld spray cans...the ball inside rattles when you shake it...
duplicolor is a good brand,,, I've used krylon and rustoleum with good results...even the tractor supply paint is good...

My experience is Rustoleum is slower drying than Krylon and Duplicolor. Lately I've been buying Duplicolor, it lays down nice seems pretty durable.

Re: Rattle Can?

I could have sworn I saw it on here but I thought I heard you could get a custom mix in a rattle can from paint and body shops by your specific VIN number. Was I dreaming this? Couldn't find it again. It looked like a glass container with paint on top of a spray paint can and it sprayed like a traditional can.
