Re: Cab rust repair.

I haven't logged in here for four years or so; long story. But I just saw a mind-blowing YouTube of a young Aussie Gal who is an absolute Grand Master of Sheet Metal work, so I was head over here to let folks know about her. I learned a lot just watching two of her videos and I have no connection to her personally or professionally.

This cab repair post provides the perfect opportunity because in the YouTubes linked below she does a complete new cab floor in one and then basically rebuilds the entire cab in the other. She calls it "Picking" the Cab which involves cutting out section by section and fabbing new sheet metal and Tig Welding each piece in.

Ok so the cab she tears fearlessly into is a Toyota Stout so not a C10 but if you squint it has a very similar structure.
I don't know which video is more impressive but here are the two I watched:

Roof chopping, customizing and stretching the back of the cab - 64 Toyota Stout build.

Bead rolling the floor and tunnel - 64 Toyota Stout build
