ATO Fuse block disassembly
I cant seem to be able to find any info and/or tips on releasing the pack con terminals from an ATO fuse panel. I have a painless GM 12 circuit wiring harness and need to relocate my fuse block in my "truck" Can anyone help out? Thanks!

Re: ATO Fuse block disassembly
The Pack-Con terminals have a couple of retainer tangs that need to be depressed with a small pick. Once that is done, the terminals (with wires still attached) can be pulled out through the back (wire entry side) of the block.
Here is a pic of a typical bus-bar type Pack-Con terminal found in these fuse boxes. I drew arrows pointing to a couple of the tangs ... this particular example has 8 tangs that need to be depressed before it will pull out. |

Re: ATO Fuse block disassembly
Any suggestions on what kind of tools to use? I can imagine something quite small.

Take a paper clip and pound the end of it flat with a ball peen hammer. I've done that in a pinch
