Hello I stumbled onto this website in search of a rear hatch for my second 69-72 GMC Jimmy. Which was succesfull from your member named Lazyguard up in Canada. I love your website here, I think I've spent more hours here than anywhere else the last 2 days lol. Anyway heres a picture of my first jimmy I wish I could make it my Avatar but it keeps telling me its to big even after I shrunk it down to 25% I hope to make alot of new friends here. My Jimmy above is a 1970 with a 350 bored .060 over 2000 miles on it (1 of 6 motors that have found a home in it). Has Edelbrock 625cfm carb sitting on top a holley street dominator intake. HEI spark. Thats about it for the motor, its just slightly above avarage. (workin on a 900 cfm dual quad tunnel ram 350 with 400 crank and dome top pistons to acheive some way above avarage compression)..... The jimmy also has a Dana 60 rear end with 4.56 gears front end is still the stock GM 10 bolt fully rebuilt. It has 6 inch super lift under it with a 3 inch body lift to fit the awesome 40x17x15 Ground hawg tires covered by bushwacker cut out fender flares (but the fenders wen't cut?) Custom made rear drive line which has 3/4 ton Ujoints and the front is still 1/2 ton ( I replaced the yolk out of the transfer case to fit a 3/4 ton U-joint I hated the the 1/2 ton ones breaking lol. Ummmm.... think thats about it for that one. I'm building another 71 right now for re-sale but its a ways from that, the cold weather makes it hard to get out there and do stuff... I 'll post a pic of it shortly for you guys...

I'm from Mountain Home Idaho, its about 30 miles sount of Boise. The sliding rear windows came with it when I bought it 10 years ago. Its got a little rust starting in the normal spots. But here are some more pic...

Those tow hooks are OE? wow!!! I didn't know that they are beefy sons of guns that for sure. I always told people who asked about them that they were probably pulled from a wrecker. In a laughin tone. worth their weight in gold huh.... like how much??? now I'm curious..... I also got 3 gas tanks one in the rear and 2 saddles???? is that OE too?

I'll keep my eye out for more hooks for you guys...

I can't imagine where a saddle tank would be unless the rocker boxes have been deleted...

YUP, BUT THESE ABOVE ARE BEHIND THE ROCKERS BY THE DOORS

I will take a picture of the saddles when the sun comes up tomorrow... they are right under the doors to the inside of the rockers... In my picture you can see them, see that metal piece under my door, thats the bottom of the gas tank. they do not have fuel guages though.
