It is a good useable top, has some damage on front corners, glass is good

I'll give you $10. for the front 6" of the top! Will use it as a mounting for a bikini top. But it needs to be solid---chipping on the leading edge is fine but it has to be one piece for obvious reasons!(:>)

Huck, I tried doing what your thinking of. I had several hrs into it when it finally just came apart at the center seam at which point I scrapped that idea. I had separated the innner and outer shells, I thought using it with both shells still together would of looked odd. Let us know how it works for you.

I could sure use that junk cap! I need about the first 10 inches or so. My bikini doesn't need the cap, but I'm going to fab a whole new top. My top is in pretty good shape and will be on sale this summer (minus light bar and luggage rack).
