Been kinda busy but I got some work done today. I didn't take pics of my crappy tack welds... I do think I'm getting a little better though. I got inside and drilled some holes in the stamping. Raised area is where it contacts the cover, and I riveted those areas. My welding is ehh, and I felt rivets would be best. Welding where the sheet metal was already overlapped on the edges was a little easier since it was thicker.
Still a little ugly and ran out of rivets, but not to bad I think.
