Yeah, that could make a nice truck. I told one of my friends about it but he just picked up a 68 K10 burb.

decent looking 4wd project starter in LA

1971 Chevrolet Suburban K20 3/4 Ton - $4800

It, runs, drives, is my daily driver. Four wheel drive and front manual lockers work.

Within the last 6 months I have replaced:
Front and Rear Brakes
Front and Rear Shocks
5 Toyo M55 tires (mismatched rim on spare)
Rear wheel bearings and races


Needs:
Upper ball joint on passenger side (have, not installed)
Tie rod ends (have, not installed)
Heater re-installed
Rust repair in Passenger and Driver's rear quarter panels
Has exhaust leak on Driver's side exhaust manifold

Leaks a bit of oil, trans and power steering fluid. Not much, maybe a quart every 6 months.
