oh maybe your assuming I closed up the transfer slot,sorry.I actualy opened it up a little but the point is that you never know were that slot/butterfly relationship is unless you check it ,set it and never touch that idle screw again.im sure everyone like me that doesn't or didn't know,turns that screw up n down to adjust idle.

Me and ricky stole your thread for awhile while you were snoozin'!!
He was wondering how to get his transfer slot square.
It doesn't need to be absolutely square. If you can still adjust your mix screws and they're responsive (adjust them in leaner and the motor idles down roughly) then you know you're not on the power circuit but still on the idle circuit.
