Rear fenders

Will the rear fenders off a 3800 fit my 3600?I have a chance to get a whole truck cheaper than I can buy a bed.

The fenders from a 3800 series should be the exact same size as the 3600.

Cool, this truck's bed is way longer than a regular longbed,or looks that way anyway.I guess I'll run out and measure it tomorrow,Since the fenders will fit,it'll be a good buy either way

The long beds on pre 55 first series look really long. Exspecially the pre 47 models. They made a longbed truck that was a few inches longer then a regular longbed for the task force trucks...probally same with your body style. But even if its a extra long-long bed it still should have the same fenders.

This truck looks like a 1950 Longhorn.Plus it's rated a 1 ton,I'm told, but is single wheel in the back.I'm not too sharp on these year trucks.

I think they made some 1 ton single wheel trucks. I may be wrong if so, somebody correct me. Guy near me has a 51 and I think he said its a 1 ton also. Its a long bed, single wheel, regular pickup bed/fenders. Its alteast a 3/4 ton, but im pretty sure he said its a 1 ton. How many lugs does the truck have? The one this guy has, has 8 lug wheels on it I believe. Not sure if the 1 ton had more then 8 lugs or not. We have a 50's model 3/4 ton and it has 8 lugs. We also have a 2 ton (56) that has 10 lug rear and 5 lug front. So if its a 1 ton, it should have either 8 or 10 lug wheels.

It has 8 lug wheels. For the most part it looks like my 3/4 ton, other than the fact it is so long.

This is the 3/4 ton we have down here. Its pretty long. The chassis stops at the edge of the pic, but the flatbed goes on past the pic. Since it doesnt have a pickup bed it would be hard for you too look at this and see if its about the same length as the truck your talking about.

A guy from cali recently visited his family here in SC. They live down the road and he stopped here and asked if we had any old cars. He saw this one and is suppost to come back for it. He is back in cali now, and getting another title for it...so when he comes back (3 months or so) it should be out of here and maybe fixed up. He wants to restore it and use it, but its in really rough shape. But hey...if he wants to try it, im not gonna stop him.

Yea, they are a few good parts on the truck. All glasses except the passenger side door glass is cracked. The top of the cab has a dent that needs to be popped out. Both cab corners need to be fixed on it. On the plus side tho, it has a pretty good set of front fenders, hood, grill, 3/4 chassi parts, and a transmission.
