universal joints and driveshaft

Hello,

putting a 305 into my 65 c10. trans is a thm350. Trying to use the old driveshaft with the yoke from the trans. From what I see, the rear of the driveshaft will use a 1310 universal joint on both sides(or a standard 1310).

The yoke side is where my confusion comes in. The driveshaft has the same dimensions on the yoke side as the differential side, so I assume that I need one side to be the 1310. The Yoke itself has a cap with the outer dimension of 1 1/8" (or 1.125). The yoke is from a 1991 Chevrolet Caprice Classic. Outside measurement of the yoke is 3 5/8". The measurement from the ridge where the plastic was inside the yoke is 3" and inside the yoke is 2 1/2".

Since I have read about lots of people doing this swap, cant believe that no one has posted this before so I am asking now.

Any recommendations for my new front universal would be appreciated. I have looked on several u joint identification posts and still cant figure out the front part number.

thanks in advance for any help.
