Old school 67-72 shortbeds

Got a buddy of mine that has a 67 Stepside...Hee's wanting ideas on what to do with his truck. He says he wants to keep it Old School. I wanted to show him some 67-72 fleet or shortbed step with 15's (white walls or not). Just as long as they Old School...(Traditional)

I love that truck ! It's is very sharp. I always liked the 69 grills the best. Mine has a similar stance and wheel and tire combo just not near as shiny

Ha!!! I have to agree with you on that. I "myself" like them dropped, lower in the front...preferrably 15" wheels...NO BIG RIMS...thats just me.

Re: Old school 67-72 shortbeds

Here is one I built back in the 90s.

I kid you not, I called Summit (pre internet days) to order the wheels. The sales guy tried to talk me out of them. He kept saying Cragar SS wheels were old fashioned and no one ever bought them anymore.

Here is one I built about 7 years ago. Then, I ordered the wheels from Summit's website so I didn't have to convince the sales guy I was serious about buying the "old school" wheels.

I was poor when I built this one so I couldn't afford the nicer wheels and had to settle for rallys.

Later I matched the bed patina and went with steelie wheels, again, too broke to buy nice wheels..

I think you did one hell of a great job on all these trucks you built, even the last one is kick ass I would love to have that and drive it just as it is there in that last picture. great job.
