Test Drive.Sweet Pea.

Well its been 6 long weekends.....But I finally got all the Air Ride DONE.and the electrical upgrades .....So today I filled up Sweet Pea and we went for a ride......She preformed flawlessly .And I could not be more happy with the ride, the look, and being able to adjust her to any terrain....Anyways here are a few pictures I took at the last stop......

Very nice, I really like the back end treatment. A completely smooth tailgate always bothered me but I like how you left the upper indentation in it for a slightly more stock look while still being totally custom. I always like to leave the basic architecture intact on these wonderfully designed GM vehicles while still adding subtle stylistic improvements.

Looks good as always but the real question is for me at least... How well does it hook up with the pedal to the carpet?

Wow, thats a beauty and if I can get mine half as nice I will be very happy I was not sure about the olive green on mine but seeing how it looks on yours I think I will have to keep it if and when I repaint it. Great job.

Re: Test Drive.Sweet Pea.

Thanks for all the compliments everyone....It has been a long road...Tearing down a just finished project was a little sketchy. But I am glad I made the Air Ride decision....To be honest other than the pain in the but inch and an eighth holes to drill.... Finding a Alt...that would keep up was the hardest chore....Most of all my big items draw a ton of Amps..Dual electric fans....H.I.D headlamps and both compressors running..Will drain a charging system fast...But I got a 140amp...1 wire....she seems to work flawlessly....

Richard....With my spool in, it hooks up fine...I run roughly 80 P.S.I when I feel the need to mash the gas...Although at a dead stop....She mainly just tears the tires off it....(with out break torquing it)...It is a little better than the leaves....But I would not say by much....55/60 mph....If you mash the gas. she still breaks them loose as well....Although with bags its a little easier to control at those speeds..

Mightyatom.....Thanks...Sweet Pea is not the stock light olive green. It is a custom mix....
