62 rear sway bar

Does anybody know of a rear sway bar that will work on a 62 1/2 ton short bed?

Re: 62 rear sway bar

Hellwig list their part # 7401 for '63-'72. I don't know why it wouldn't work on a '62 though.

I have one on my '65 and it attaches to the frame at the ends so maybe that is the issue.

How do you erase posts? For some reason I had trac bar in my head and posted question that was irrelevant and wanted to erase it but can't figure out how.

Re: 62 rear sway bar

I ordered the long trackbar for my 62 from CPP.
http://www.classicperform.com/Store/...k/6062DTBK.htm

BUT - I think they sent me the wrong mounting bracket so I had to modify it to make it work. See discussion here:
