leather furniture brand

we are looking at getting some new furniture for the livingroom. we saw the brand of "DeCoro" and from the outside it looks ok. I'm just hesitant to buy a name I have never heard of. has anyone here heard of them or can give some feedback? we are thinking of a double recliner sofa and 2 recliner chairs. the color goes real good with our house. (1916 Sears farmhouse)

Re: leather furniture brand

Can't give you much feedback except to say that Italian leather usually beats all, get at least "grade 3" leather or higher (grade 4 is really nice). you hear people toss around "Natuzzi" leather all the time - Natuzzi makes some sweet furniture, but it's expensive as hell.

Decoro has a website: http://www.decoro.com/

I couldn't find any reviews on their stuff online, but it seems to be an upscale furniture. I'm getting ready to buy some stuff for my front living room by Mitchell Gold, which is another reputable furniture maker that may have stuff to fit your bill. Just a suggestion.

Todd, we have a Natuzzi sofa, it's super nice.
I have a bud who knows his furniture, I just asked him about DeCoro and he has never heard of it, but he said that it still could be a nice piece of furniture.

Re: leather furniture brand

according to some quick looking at lunch time.

co. started in 1997
they are made in China (that explaines why I can afford it)
they are he77-bent on customer satisfaction.
high quality stuff.

I went ahead & bought a set. i got the double recliner sofa and 2 recliner chairs. I just hope they stand up to my 3 year old and our Black Lab.

<anyone who ruins my leather will be sold on Ebay> JK

Shawn, wanna help un-load when they get here?

I don't work for free, it's going to take at least a couple beers!
When are they coming?

Re: leather furniture brand

Nice! Question: What's the wait time on getting them? Michell Gold wants 10 weeks, Natuzzi wants freaking 18 weeks! Talk about crazy waits! All becuase I don't want the material on the showroom floor.

Re: leather furniture brand

they said about 2 weeks. it could be one week if all the planets line up perfectly. I could have taken the floor model but the colors didnt match like I wanted. we'll see what happens
