What Wiring Harness Did You Install In Your Truck?

Like the title states, what wiring harness did you install (or have installed) in your truck.

Re: What Wiring Harness Did You Install In Your Truck?

I used EZ-Wire, have not seen ez2wire... Same thing???? (I chose Other)

Other then having to reuse some of my old plugs, it was not that bad to do. I do know that if I had to rewire another truck, it would take about 1/4-1/2 of the time then what it took me the first time (about 8 hours spread over four days with about 2 hours added to that for trouble shooting)...

I thought EZ-Wiring and EZ2Wire were the same but maybe not...

If you chose "Other", please let us know what harness it is.

I used Painless and it was exactly that. Way easier than I thought my first rewire would be.

Thumbs up Re: What Wiring Harness Did You Install In Your Truck?

Used M&H that I got off of GMC Paul. Pretty simple to do. Thank god, for I have a simple mind. So far, have not had any problems with it. Just make sure to clean your grounds when you install them.

PO did it, but I believe it is M&H, very nice, all Factory type connections

When I converted to internal alt and upgraded the headlights with relays, I just made my own wiring harness with close colors from a good hardware store near me.

I used LMC. It was a nice fit but expensive and I wouldn't use it again based on price alone.

E-Z Wire and ez2wire are NOT the same harnesses or same company.

Roger that big.mike ... sorry if I sounded abrupt or rude in that last post ... re-reading it after your reply I realized it sounded that way.

Was not intended that way bro.

Sorry.

Re: What Wiring Harness Did You Install In Your Truck?

No worries, I did not take it as such. Just after doing more research I realized that they were 2 different manufacturers but it was too late to change the poll.

Btw, you can buy the connecters that plug into the firewall part of the fuse box from NAPA along with the stock headlight connectors from Ron Francis. ALOT cheaper and very easy to do than buying these pre-made harnesses! However, I only did from the firewall forward now that I think about it.

I voted OEM but it's late model oem early 90's truck. Did this for TBI conversion.
