prostreet1967 - do you mind if I ask what your build plans are? What are you HP goals and what ETs are you shooting for?
I'm primarily building my truck for street / track use, but I really don't want to fabricate a roll cage for it. I'll probably stick to the 1/8th mile tracks and sneak in some 1/4 mile runs every now and then.

currently i have a 468 i have a extra block that im going to stroke to a 496 would like to turbo charge it not to sure about horsepower would be happy with 6's in the 1/8th mile mainly street truck but occasional strip.
so where are u located in dfw theres a couple of us thinking about getting together in march |

My 72 is a strip/street style truck. Was running a 509 ci BBC but has a 468 since I'm trying to sell it. Also running a full manual T350 and 4:10 rear gears.

this is a video of my truck at the track it went 10.22@129mph also on the bottle,and my truck weighs in at 4050 w/me in it and the best time so far on the bottle was 10.11@130mph |
