i like this tailgate idea

it would be good for a blazer...
might also be cool if a manufacturer made one similar as a replacement. maybe if i find a spare gate to try it on, i'll just cut a nice hole and make my own...

not a new idea, but pretty well done, i think.

Re: i like this tailgate idea

Well, I bet you'd find plenty of tailgates with rust in that area to cut out... mine is one of those!

Pretty cool idea though.

Re: i like this tailgate idea

didnt notice it before but with bolt cutters an axe and a shovel doesnt seem like there is much good intentions with that setup.

unless you do concrete and set up footers
Cutters: rebar
Axe: roots i guess
Shovel: dig hole

then again im not a lifeguard.

or a "get into jail" kit. the axe is for the most heinous of crimes. the cutters is for the chain link fence you need to get through and the shovel is for digging the grave err I mean hole.

<great, now I sound like a serial killer>

we could make one for Andy's truck. it could hold a case of Dew and a carton of Camels.
