I like! How much? And since they came from a truck stop it would be easy to find replacements.....

You Oriental or sumpin?

What kind of cable link you thinking about? It seems like if a guy used some of the new cables it would all work.........with a little work. I got a '63 SWB that I'm wanting to shave the chains on.

Re: new inside tailgate latches

i was thinking about cable but i am not sure of how well it will tuck back up inside when the tailgate closes. so I was going to attempt to make some out of flat bar and have them pivot. that will be a next week sometime project. you should put a pic of your truck up for all to see.

Oooohhhhh, flat bar! That'd be even better. I'll post some pics up as soon as I get my 14 year old daughter to show me how...

It's not the prettiest thing.....but I'll put some pics up.

No, its loose and rotates on the bolts. I think you can get these cables just about anywhere...I dont remember what they are off. They have been on here a few years and bend the right way. I dont remember if when new they got in the way or not.
