Nice work. Truck looks great. How much lift are you running and what size tires are those?

First, your truck looks great, great color! Now, what are those seats out of, and is the gas tank still behind the seat??

Re: post your 67-72 4x4
Thanks Guys. Seat is from an 05 Dodge Ram PU. Three point seatbelts from seatbeltsplus.com. Having them recovered first week in May to a black vinyl with black/white houndstooth inserts. Also will have a houndstooth accent added to the door panels.
Yes, went with power windows and locks too. I still can't stop fiddling around so have a few additional touches coming too. Bought the aluminum fill panels for the grill to radiator area, as well as the radiator cover panel. Having them "dipped" in a carbon fiber pattern, (liquidtransformations.com). Also having the valve cover breather dipped. Just got a real carbon fiber air filter assembly too. Not too much, just accenting. My original blue Chevy grill emblem was looking pretty cheesy now that the truck is finished. So getting it dipped in blue carbon fiber for a little fun. I still can't stop fiddling around so have a few additional touches coming too. |

Re: post your 67-72 4x4
Fuel tank removed from the cab. Got a salvage yard tank from a S10 Blazer and mounted it between the frame behind the rear diff. Filler neck ran through the right rear bedside. Cut in a 12x12 piece with fuel door from a mid 90's Chevy. It was a left side fill from the 96 Chevy so turned it upside down to mount on the right side. More work than I thought it was going to be. But turned out nice I think.

Re: post your 67-72 4x4
Has about a 5 inch lift now. Previous owner had a four with an add-a-leaf on the front. So the front is a *****! No give! Just ordered a 6 inch all leaf, no block, Skyjacker kit so that will be going on soon. 3/4ton Dana front diff. 1 ton Dana rear with locker. Tires are 315/75 Mickey Thompsons, so about 35".

Re: post your 67-72 4x4
I really like your truck shoooter. I am starting a frame off 4X4 swb stepper myself and I have been trying to settle on what color to paint it. White is my favorite color for a truck but it was black before and I was pretty sure I would go back to black until I saw your rig.
