Smile Show your Long step side.

Seems that short beds both step and wides ,are the most popular.Long wides are plentiful, I have one, but there has got to be some out there that have LONG STEP SIDE TRUCKS.
Can we see what you have?????????

Re: Show your Long step side.

Heres my 70 C20 402BB 4 speed with granny low. Got it from my grandad a few months ago. It had utility box fenders on it but I got some nice fenders from a member on the forum here. Its a work in progress. I plan on keeping it pretty much original with a few creature comforts like a/c and power steering added
First pic is when I got it. The other two are with the new fenders.

Re: Show your Long step side.

Even though it's a low option plain Jane truck, I'd still like to do a factory style restoration, just like the day it left the dealer's lot. You see a lot of fancy, high option models restored, but not many "working man's" trucks.

Do you know if the long step trucks were mostly plain Janes? I wonder if any were built with a lot of options.
I like your idea of restoring it back to factory.
Keep em coming guys..........

The few that I've seen have been plain Janes,......... but anything is possible. You have a good thread going here, so if there are any out there, they just may turn up here.

This is a pretty rare truck. In all the years of looking at these trucks I've only ever seen one other longbed stepside 4X4 and it was a complete beater. I wonder if Longhorn Man knows how many of these were built.

Re: Show your Long step side.

I had to go the the mall today to return some stuff, and when we were leaving I saw this truck. I had to go find him and talk to him. I told him about the forum and hopefully he becomes a member. I hope he does, he told me some of his plans for it and it sounded like a cool build.
