Re: lil' blue 280Z

well pulled the interior then remembered to take pictures.. but it's the original 78 WHITE interior... that's going to change fast.. i dont do white.. helllz no... im tooo dirty

so here's we go.. the spare tire ares is rusted pretty bad.. there's apparently a water leak somewhere.. but no big deal cause i have a bad ass wire wheel and a welder and toooons of sheetmetal around
or i can get off me arse and get one at the junkyard..

drivers side rocker is toast..
floor boards are nont rusted through... bu tneed to be cleaned bad..

the motors missing it's spark plugs, belts and radiator cap...
but has new injectors.. ive got a bit of putting back together to do before she'll be my DD...
kinda bummed a "buddy" would sell me a car without spark plugs.. but hey whatever it's got new tires.. hahaha

Those little Z's will haul azz with the six, Can't imagine one with a SB....My bro had two of them, He was knocking on death's door after getting hit in the drivers door (pushed in almost touching the console) but luckily no one answered.

I had a chance to buy a running driver for $200 but wouldn't after that....

Good Luck with the build and be careful !

Re: lil' blue 280Z

well update.. my buddy sold me a running 307 turbo350 combo for $400
i allready have a 350 but' it's tbi so im going to take probably a year or two to build that into a asphalt destroying mofo..

but for now im assembling parts and getting ready for a swap hopeflly next month she'll be driving...

BTW my chevy got it's new ubolts (roid rage ubolts) and i got the PS fixed...
so now i can tote around town in my obscenely overpowered cheby....

anyone here know of any good "Zcar" guys? personally? someone to give a good heds up in direction.. the ones ive met so far are all.. well unpleasant...

Re: lil' blue 280Z

Whites Performance in Kingsport TN has a 240Z. He is running a 400 now. It is a full race car, but he/they might be able to help on engine placement, mounts, and stuff like that.

we got parts here years ago. I think they are still owned by LMC.

Re: lil' blue 280Z

the only factory wiring will be heater controls, turnsignals etc, gauges are being replaced with HOPEFULLY the autometer cobalt series, all engine and meter wiring will be GM style .. so i can keep it simple =-)
by GM style i mean, all facory dash wiring is GONE.. =-) gonna pull harnesses the same way i did my 83!... wot woot
