AM FM Delco Radio Factory 1972 CST

Ive got a couple AM FM's left, Heres a very very Presentable working Am Fm Delco radio from a 72 Chevy truck. Its been rebuilt about 8-10 years agoat a shop. I just hooked it up to a battery and bench tested it. The chrome face is very nice yet. The light works in it and it flips from am to fm the way it should. Check out the pics. Its ready to install the way it is. $300 shipped on this one, I have a couple more for less money but I havent tested them yet. Let me know in the thread if youre interested and PM me. Thanks, Don

So you dont care if it works or not then ?? Is this for a truck or just a dash you have sitting around someplace ? Ive seen people take the entire dash out of trucks and build them into bars and stuff like that ! Don

Re: AM FM Delco Radio Factory 1972 CST

no as a matter of fact if it has the back on it i will probably literally cut off the back for more room behind my dash, i will have an aftermarket radio in the glove box, this will be a show truck so i want a nice looking face but, that is all that matters

You probably dont want to chop up a real Truck AM FM radio, they usually bring between $200-400 depending on condition, How bout a Van AM FM radio, they were about the same , just different numbers on the face and where the antenna plugs in different location, the chrome bezel is the same, Don

Re: AM FM Delco Radio Factory 1972 CST

Top radio is a Chevy Van AM FM, Bottom radio is a Real truck radio 71-72 Cheyenne truck radio, same flipper, same chrome bezel, same face, different numbers also known as a drum decal, antenna spot is different on the van radios and thats about it, there have been many Van radios passed off as "truck" radios over the years, very similiar, 73-77 Chevy Vans had them in them, Don

Do you still have the real truck one? has it been tested? If you still have it could post a picture of it and how much is that one?
