Still need to paint the tailgate and front bumper/light filler.
I like one bedside and dually fender being done buffing. install all of the trim o have the bed. Get the exhaust and Bedliner done. Just finishing up. Posted via Mobile Device

Re: crew cab short bed build " clifford"
I got the dually fender trim clean up, polished and painted.
I also got a rearview mirror out of a later model truck with compass and temp, that's one of the things i miss about having a newer truck.

Re: crew cab short bed build " clifford"
It wasn't easy. Where they were pitted I started with 36 grit on a small block and sanded the majority of the pits out. Next i went to 80 grit, then once i had the 36 grit scratches out i switched to 80 grit on a 3" da, then to 180 and finally to 320. Next i polished them on a high speed buffer and then painted the black with semi gloss krylon.

Trim looks great, what kind of polish did you finish up with?

Trim pieces looks awesome!
Have you heard of the stuff called shark skin? It's a clear coat type of product that's supposed to be really strong. Posted via Mobile Device
