Re: Weekly Sightings

man that poor old truck looks like its had a rough life sitting in that mud with a twisted hood. nothing i hate more than to see these trucks wasting away in a field, a junkyard, or on a trailer to the scrapper. thats why i have become good friends with board member nbrfd007(tim). tim is becoming the man i sell trucks to after i get the couple parts off i want. he bought a 66 gmc i saved from the crusher and maybe a 68 longbed too. he even has a 71 or 72 wrecker that he picks them up in, he truly loves his trucks.

Re: Weekly Sightings

here is a walmart special. this thing has been assembled out of what looks like 7 or 8 trucks. this should actually be under a thread i should start called weekly no no's, cuz this is just retarded. if you can see it, my camera sux, but this guy had welded about 4 or 5 in tips for his exhaust, no design, just two big cans. im wondering if he is trying the riceburner/fast and the furious performance mods? if you put your 2middle fingers tip to tip and thumbs tip to tip and made a circle you may get close to how big they are.

Re: Weekly Sightings

I looked at this 69 C/30 today. The SPID shows that it was originally a platform & stake with a 133in wheelbase. It looks like the wheelbase has been shortened and appears to have a homemade wrecker bed but the booms have been cut off. The motor sounds strong, the owner is asking $1650.00.

This was a few weeks ago in Columbia SC. Stoped on the way down to the beach house. Guy pulled up beside me at Lowes while waiting on another guy with golf cart parts I bought off craigslist.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Re: Weekly Sightings

I saw this one today as I was pulling out of the bank. I saw him pull into Arby's and stopped and talked for a minute. Didn't get his name or if he knew about this forum, yea I know I'm slipping LOL.

Sorry for the crappy cell phone pics!

Re: Weekly Sightings

cool trucks. i know plenty about cell phone pics being crappy. i just upgraded from an average as verizon calls "basic phone" to a smart phone. now you'd figure with all the extra you pay for the monthly service and for the phone it would have a decent camera, my other phone had an 8mp camera, this htc, 5mp, and it takes horrible pics, my other phone took amazing pics.

Hey thanks for the welcome. The truck is at a little tote-the-note car lot on I-30 in Benton.

It's SBC/Auto, probably a 350/350 but didn't confirm. I think the truck was originally I-6/Manual.

Thanks,
Tony

Re: Weekly Sightings

these two are sitting in front of the "67-72 graveyard" i found in cabot. couldnt find a way to get in touch with the owner. and the 80's k10 was lifted up with an odd paint job. saw a ton more trucks but my friends dont understand my obsession with pics of these trucks and wouldnt stop.

Re: Weekly Sightings

Here's one with a 90's style bed that was across from me at a light last week. Saw three at dinner tonight (Clock in Lyman, SC). One was a 69/70 SWB that left before I could get a picture and two 71/72's which were there when I left. Not sure who owns the blue one, but it's nice. If it's yours or if you know whose it is, contact me! I'd love to see more of it but didn't want to be too creepy.
