Re: stepside tonneou cover
Darn Toby, you busted my bubble----I thought I had made an original find (lol).
Thanks for posting the link to the previous thread. Ive got to call them and see if they can give me exact drilling instructions---I wont drill after I paint!! (and would prefer not to buy ahead of time).

Re: stepside tonneou cover
Mooneyes,,,
Have you had it on long enough so far to tell if there is any wiggle/vibration in the unit frame that would abraid the paint? Im going to be doing my truck in a three stage candy apple paint----not looking forward to deep scuffs/scratches that would require further paint.

Re: stepside tonneou cover
Haven't had any problems with that personally. The holes you drill is to hold the lead piece at the front. Sheet metal size and I think three. Unless you also drill the holes for the hold down on each inside for the latches. I never drilled those and just removed a floor strip bolt and used a bungy cord through a eye bolt. With new bedsides didn't want any extra holes myself. Good luck and overall a decent product.
