Seamist Jade Green, anyone?

Does anyone own a '63 in the unusual factory color of Seamist Jade Green? Heck, has anyone ever even seen one? I haven't. Does anyone have a pic of a legit Seamist Jade truck? Would love to see one.

Re: Seamist Jade Green, anyone?

Similar, but I don't think that's Seamist Jade. It's a metallic. Here it is (I believe) on a Corvair truck.

Re: Seamist Jade Green, anyone?

I have never seen a pickup in seamist jade either, and I don't believe the pickup in these pics is correct. The Corvair looks to be the correct seamist jade.

Re: Seamist Jade Green, anyone?

Hey, 1963c-10 and joedoh it might be helpful if you went back and deleted your photos so people don't get confused in the future. Just a suggestion for clarity's sake. No biggie.

That's not obscure. That's the Belgian Block loop at the GM Milford Proving Grounds.

Re: Seamist Jade Green, anyone?

Interesting that the truck in oem4me's post appears to have a trim color that is off white, and the one in 1963c-10's appears to be pure white.

Re: Seamist Jade Green, anyone?

Thanks for the pictures and the help Sodly, I posted my 62 C10 Custom Cab on my thread, but it is not sea mist jade anymore, but is the original color. It is coming through the repaint pealing off. note: has the incorrect GMC hood. I have a correct on for it now.

Re: Seamist Jade Green, anyone?

Thanks, I just got this truck, neat options on it and I love the original color in sea mist jade. I am planning on taking it to a power washer and see if that old repaint comes off.... original custom cab and pretty cooler chrome... pretty solid truck!
