Anyone have 15x10 wheels in the back

I'm ordering front wheels (cragar delux 69 15x6) next week. As soon as I swap the rear to 5 lug I want to get 15x10's for the rear. I have a 66 fleetside. I will have to roll the lip I'm sure. Anyone know the backspace and offset and tire size that will work without rubbing? This winter sometime I'm dropping my bed off at the bodyshop for new wheel openings and bodywork so I guess I could widen the tubs at that time but I would like to avoid spending the extra money if I don't need to.

Re: Anyone have 15x10 wheels in the back

I had 15x10s on this one.

They clear no problem with the right offset and widened tubs .

I'm running 15 x 10s on the rear of my '66. They're a 6.5" backspace. I did have to widen the tubs, though. I've got 31 x 13.5 Hoosier quick time pros on them, btw.

Re: Anyone have 15x10 wheels in the back

Any input with people running street tires in a 275/60/15 (28" tall) or a 295/50/15 (26.7" tall) on a 15X10? I am hoping to run a 4.5" or 5.5" of drop in the front and 5" of drop in the back, and was hoping to run 15X10's in the back with one of those two sizes, but wasn't aware of the need to widen the inner fenders.

This is a P275X60X15 on a 15X10 wheel. It's a tight fit but no body alterations.

Nice! What is the backspace. The ones I am looking at have a 3.75in backspace.

My backspace is 4". You could probably get away with 3.75" if you roll the fender lip.

Cool! I had planned on rolling the lips. The PO cut the lip off and screwed up the adges so I need to replace that area anyway. It willl be easier to roll them with the section off the truck.
