Can you replace extended cab??

Hey guys. I bought a 98 Sierra 1500 extended cab with the half doors for cheap.. the reason why it was so cheap was because it was t-boned on the passenger side. I heard that you can swap cabs but I’ve never seen it done nor could find anything on the internet. Is it possible if so how hard is it to do? Thanks
