If ya'll don't know, Gary (ironhorse)has been here longer than me. 22 years in a few months! Gary said in his email, that it would be an honor to be featured... To me it is the same in reverse. Gary thank you for ALWAYS being an active fun member of the community. Thank you for helping keep me in line, when needed and for all you do and have done over the years.

I have to agree with the others, that’s a beautiful truck!!
Your truck is one of the first trucks I remember seeing on this site. Inspirational.

If things work out for me I might make it over to Hutch in May.
Hope to see ya this spring.

Re: Todays Spotlight: Ironhorse (go Gary, its your 71, go Gary.. go..go)

Many thanks to all for the kind words and thank you Liz for selecting Ol Blue for the honor of spotlighting to the thread. As to the almost 22 years here , (Wow, where did the time go ?) I have met some really great people here both on line and also in person. Been a great run and plan to stick around for some more fun. Always do my best to spread the word for the website here. Thanks to you Liz, Josh and all the staff who keep us on the straight path and sort out the issues as they pop up. Lots of work I'm sure and done with out near enough thanks and appreciation for the effort.

Scott, hope to see you in Hutch next month. Stop by and we'll talk trucks, cars and anything else that comes to mind.

That truck is super clean! What's the color code? Looks almost tealish in the sun.

Re: Todays Spotlight: Ironhorse (go Gary, its your 71, go Gary.. go..go)

Thanks for all the kind words and the replies. "Ol Blue" was pretty rough when first bought it but I could see a diamond in the rough, LOL. Just had to spend a LOT of time, $$$ and beer to find it and bring it back. A labor of love with a little bit of hate involved when ran into a few problems but pleased with the outcome. All original GM sheet metal was used with the exception of the tail gate. Could not find a decent straight gate anywhere and opted for one from GMC Paul. Very pleased with it and still holding up well today.

The color is "Dark Blue Metallic" from a 1992 Chevrolet S10, color code is WA9095.
