Looks like I posted this at the wrong thread. I would appreciate it if one of the moderators will move to this thread, thanks.

I personally think it's fine here. This thread is for both Panels & Subs. While it does have a side window, the one you posted could go either way IMO. Won't hurt to post in both threads either.

:gmc2:Here's my 65. In the process of restorodding. Would like to keep the patina but redoing everything underneath. First step new powertrain/frame cleanup.

Nice find. Gonna try to remove the dents? It definitely has a good patina, that I don't blame you for wanting to keep.

Thanks. I've got some lower rear quarter panels and hope to straighten out around the tail lights. (there's no reproduction parts for the rear corners, is there?) Then hope to match the mismatch and maybe flat clearcoat it.

Sounds like a good plan. Yeah, I don't think they make reproduction panels for the rear corners.

No idea. I can faintly see something in the molded bumper/roll pan, but I'm not sure if it's for lights or exhaust.

Nice rear roll pan. Did you make that yourself? :metal:

I got this from someone that had stalled half-way through his build...he did that before I got it and I fear he may have used the interior upper trim piece to do it with...he had it set up for bags too but I didn't get those with the deal.
My fleet:
63" 1-ton 12' flatbed
65' chevy panel
65' GMC lwb fleeter
66' 1-ton
84' C20 Silverado 454

Thanks, I like things stock so was kinda disappointed at first but now I kinda like it. At least I don't have to try and find a bumper for it.

Everyone keeps telling me that but I say they must be wrong...here is a stock interior panel, rare I must agree, but stock.

padresag 11-05-2014 06:14 PM

Re: Post your pics of 64-66 Panels & Subs

it would not have been stock but perhaps installed from a suburban. panels were pretty bare boned.
I have a set but you should be able to find them closer to home

I have found few people locally that know what I am even talking about. I remember seeing the Helm's bakery trucks that delivered door to door when I was a kid and their interiors were not bare bones. I believe this was probably ordered from the factory this way...I have over a 25 year history of this truck and doubt someone decided to make sheet metal to match this well in the 70's or 80's. This is chevy tin...little doubt in my mind. So, about your set...how much plus shipping to 92506? 95437 may be cheaper and just as good for me.
