Both are nice! I saw the Blazer this past weekend at the Sacramento Autorama...I got the chance to watch you drive it out too...it sure does look good driving. I have to say too, it was one of the nicest vehicles in the outside area.

Here's a pic I snapped of it...

I love the blazer, and well all your cars.
Have you considered clear marker lenses for the Blazer? I always thought the clear lenses cleaned up white and silver cars nicely. Not that yours needs improving.

Re: The new family cruiser

Thanks guys, I have clear lenses for the rear but I like the red ones for now.I can always change them later for a different look. I prefer the stock exterior look with cool upgrades like suspension, wheels, etc. on older cars and trucks

Dan, your 62 looks sweet. Not to get off topic but are those 20x10 on the rear ? Mine has 20x8.5 and I want to go to 10's. If they are what is your backspacing and tire size.

That's real nice. What is the backseat out of? Did you cut the frame down?

Everywhere you point the camera out pops another cool ride. What's the story on the 59 tucked away back there.

This is one really, really nice blazer. What guages are those? Across the top, I see the speedo to the left and it appears as tach to the right. What is in the middle guage (3-3/8")? Always good to know what others have done with the odd-sized center hole besides tach - cause I think the tach should be in one of the 5" holes. Thanks!

Not sure where the seat came from. It looks like an early or mid 70's rear blazer seat to me. My cousin has a 74 blazer that looks to have the same seat in it. The brackets were cut down as the seat is about an inch or two above the floor.

Ron, that is my dads 59 belair. We restored in 2009. The car was pretty much original with 1 repaint. We painted it the original color sierra gold and restored part of the interior. New carpet and we found the correct nos cloth inserts for the seats. eveything else on the interior was the original headliner, door panels, armrests, dash, etc. The 283 and powerglide runs really great. I have to find my other pics but i have this one from the sacramento autorama in 2010.

Thor, thank you. Those are classic instruments silver series gauges.
Product: CT6772SG--F. You called it, that is a 3 3/8" clock in the center. They are really cool looking gauges. classic instruments actually has quite a few different styles of gauges for the stock bezel.
