Very nice truck JT, I like the throttle option on the dash instead of under the dash, I'm gonna look into that for my '71 4wd stepper, I'm also a fan of cab lights on a 4wd truck.
have you replaced the cab mounts yet ??
how about a picture of the SPID when you get a chance......

Beautiful truck that looks really original for the most part. That's awesome you have 3 generations of clean examples. Nicely done. I like the cab light roof skin addition as well with the lift. Great work!

It really is a nice clean example. When I get the truck back from the body shop we are going to start on correcting some stuff under the hood. I have a correct air cleaner and valve covers for it. Will probably put the correct manifolds on it eventually but that will be down the road if the motor ever has to come out.

Here is a picture of the SPID. The cab light decision was a big one but ultimately decided that since we wanted to paint the top white we would just bite the bullet and do it!

Mike Mclin at the Restomod store. I see you are from independence, they used to be located basically at Truman road and lees summit road. Just east of the police station but moved to Lees summit about a year ago. They do great work and have painted several trucks for me.

I've been there, I live about 5 minutes from Vintage Fabrication. They do really nice work. Great truck! If you FB, look up Missouri C10 Addiction. They're talking about getting a group together for World of Wheels. I really dig your Squarebody, not my personal style, but a great truck!

I am familiar with Vintage. My dad knows those guys. Thank you for the kind words on the square body! It’s definitely a cool truck. It’s been with us for about 4 years now. We may go to world of wheels this year. Thanks for the
Heads up on the MO c10 group.

I'm still bummer World Of Wheels doesn't have a show in Des Moines anymore. I've been contemplating taking the kids to the KC one though.

WOW, lot's of work but I think it's worth it, obviously so do you :) plus you get to clean all that nasty rust out of there, ..... I'm a fan of cab lights.

I'm a big fan of raised roof cab lights. It looks very nice! That was a lot of crustiness in there!

I finally got the truck back from the body shop on Wednesday night. Truck looks great and the cab light conversion was a success. Got some minor things fixed and most importantly the top of the cab is now white like it is supposed to be. Truck turned out great. Here’s a couple pictures. It was worth the wait.

This was literally one of the most stressful things I have done with a vehicle but, I really like cab lights and the end result was well worth it!
