I watch this guy's stuff on YouTube. Just a low key guy poking around a variety of places. He's not a car guy or anything, but sometimes stuff pops up like in this one


I came upon that one because I watched his Mahanoy Plane video. Those incline planes were a cool part of transportation history. Here in Mt. Airy, MD they used incline planes for the B&O RR before the tunnel was built.

I ride this route a good bit. It stops just short of Indian springs and Big Pool, which is where Ft. Frederick is. That was a fort in the French Indian War by the Potomac R. US40 through Western Maryland is a gem

^^^ Go back to 16:12 and check out the mini COE rig sneaking in. I saw that thing at the national ATHS show when it was in MD back in the '80s. When Peterbilt came out with the COE they built the 1/4(?) scale rig for promotion

Thanks for showing your appreciation. I see many have looked, hopefully watched, with no comments. That's ok. The idea is just to share the vids I'm thinking others here would enjoy. I know we all have YouTube and can find our own videos to suit us. I only hope to show some variety to enjoy now (and winter coming) and maybe show other topics to search out on your own

Glad to hear it.

Variety is the spice of life, but I only use cinnamon in my oatmeal :rolleyes:. Not just vehicle videos, just fun and interesting (I hope). The first video was suggested and I watched, then came the second one. Vehicle related and much more, in a fun and interesting way!

I was an early subscriber to Low Rider magazine, I dont remember how long I kept the subscription. When I purged my magazine collection awhile back I tossed out piles of them. I think I kept the anniversary editions though.
