Just picked up my seat a few weeks ago from Perry @ Ashley Custom Upholstery in NC. He does great work and his prices are very reasonable. He blasted my frame and made sure the seats move forward and back and also painted all the metal before adding new cushioning and his seat covers. The best part is he is just a good car dude. Could sit and talk to him for hours!
He has tons of choices in material and this is what I chose...Perforated with a hint of green in the holes...pictures don't do it justice. I should get it installed in the next week or so. |

This was the seat cover in the truck when I bought it back in 2015. It is still in good shape, but since I've had the truck, the bottom springs had been pushing through the foam. A couple weeks ago, I pulled the cover off, cut some extra carpet, that my parents had in the basement, to fit the frame, then put the cover back on. Now, the springs don't go through the foam and the seat is wayyyyyy more comfortable :chevy:

2003 Tahoe captain chairs with a folding jump seat/console in my 64. ad to make stand offs for the front drivers seat and center console. Made them out of 3/4" steel tubing and washers welded to the tubing.
They sit really well and feel to be the perfect distance from where my steering wheel will be. Modified my dbw pedal as well to sit in the position of a newer truck. Has the same feel as my 98 C1500 when I had it. |
Re: Show us you're seats

Re: Show us your seats
If you remember I asked you where are you got your material didn’t want to copy yours so I went the blue to match the truck and the guy that did it suggested the pattern I get a lot of compliments thanks for your help
