Thanks Nuke! It is a big leap of faith on this, but it will work out for sure. I am still working on the truck just not spending any on it right now.

Cool name! I may be starting a new business very soon myself. It will allow me more time/money/energy/etc. for my truck! Looks great, by the way!!!

Thanks Devil Dog!! I put some thought into it and it has double meaning also. WWII pilots asked for the "whole nine yards" of munitions for their fighter planes since it was offered in 3,6, and 9 yard belts, and everyone likes golf courses how neatly they are kept so it was a no brainer!!!!

Here is a small but good update. Tried cranking the motor again today after finding a couple of things that were wrong when I tried before, like a bad condensor. We got it to turn but not run. Also rebuilt one of my vent windows today for the driver side.....it is time consuming on the first one, but the second one should not even take half as long. Still gotta put the glass in though.

I think we narrowed it down to a bad condensor, hopefully a new one will help the problem!

Thank you very much! That is something I have not heard before, but was waiting for it!! Long beds can be cool if they are done right. The rear wheel size, trim, and 55 Chevy emblems seem to "shorten" the bed just right!

My non-funded project is at a snails pace now. Still need some expensive parts that are going to have to wait, like radiator, steering wheel, interior, bed liner, etc. etc. It's killin me to know that this season may not happen for me after all.:waah: But thank for the kudos!

Thanks! It is slow, tryin to get customers is time consuming and does not happen very fast. I have 6 full time accounts and 1 that calls when needed. Just quoted a landscaping job for $850 and it looks like I will get it cause he called me last night and asked if I could cut his yard today.......so that will be a nice chunk of change for a days work!!!! Thanks for asking Butternut!!!

all i gotta say iss WOW..i have followed this forr the whole time.
its definatly a great truck,im sure it will turn alot of heads
or even break some necks.

goodluck finishing it

im actually thinking of going with your style
if thats ok with you?

i was planing on a blue or red color with nothing on it except the lower molding off the original and with that script chevrolet you have and thats it,
and just back to stock interior,,

get back to me with your thoughts,

oh my truck is a 68 chevrolet cst long bed

The greatest compliment is duplicating!!!:metal: One of the best ideas is putting pearl in the paint, it really makes people look twice. If you go with red put ghost blue pearl over it, and vise-versa. Blood red with blue pearl looks incredible. You can get pearl powder from Paint with Pearl.com in Denver, it's cheap and makes a huge difference in whatever color you choose. Their website shows how they look. The Chevy script is from a 55 Bel Air, you can get those from Danchuk. Stock interior is cool, it's keepin it old school which makes a statement in itself. Another key is new trim, expensive but well worth it! Mar-K is the best IMO. Spend lots of time making the body as straight as possible and you will be glad you did! Whatever you decide, take your time, take lots of pics and take time to make a great build thread!!!!

Around here you rarely see shortbeds, and thats ok. After a lifetime of looking at longbeds, the shorties just look a bit stubby to me. I can't wait to get to this point of my build. You're doing a darn fine job.

Re: 1967 C10 Custom Big Window

thanks for all the ideas, ill keep those in mind.
i might actually use some of them...eventually..

my friend has a 65 short bed and its white with grey and black pin stripe its real clean.
i might use his color skeme..but im not sure.
these old trucks have too many options.

and are endless possiblity.

ill be sure to use the tips and pointers.
thanks and good luck on finishing.
