Just checking status on the plates and boxes. Do you have a due date?

Sorry but no I do not. I'm still working 80 hrs a week every week, just trying to keep up.

I'm interested in a kit if you are still making them. Thanks

Re: Electric Speedo Conversion Plate And Box

Sorry but I still have not found the time to form and weld these up. Plus I am currently on vacation until the 25th, and I already have a large number of orders waiting for me to build and ship. So I still do not know when I will get to these.

Re: Electric Speedo Conversion Plate And Box

Ok thanks for the update. I'm not in a big hurry but if nothing else would I be able to get a template to make my own?

Re: Electric Speedo Conversion Plate And Box

I do not use templates to cut out the parts. Everything is in a dxf CAD file. I have all the laser cut parts at my shop. I am simply lacking time to form, weld and have them zinc plated.

im not familiar with this set up. is this what i would use to use my OEM style gauges with a 4l60 tranny?
I saw i need a 97 s 10 doner. i can find that and i can read up on the threads from ls1nova. just want to know if this is what i need to do to use my oem style gauge cluster

OK I just bought the kit from ls1nova, I will try my luck with his templates, didn't know he was still including them. Hopefully you will get time soon to start these again. Thanks for your time.

How's it going Captainfab, I've just stumbled across this amazing work both you and ls1nova71 have done. Wondering if you ran into any free time to work on some more kits?

If so, i'd love to put an order in!

thanks

Re: Electric Speedo Conversion Plate And Box

I'm interested, so I hope you make another run of 'em soon. Did the 4L60e swap behind the small block in my Cheyenne & would love to have a speedometer.

Re: Electric Speedo Conversion Plate And Box

Well I have the covers all formed up, they just need welded and zinc plated. There just is not any extra time with working 80 hrs a week every week. I guess I will just have to put in some extra time to get these finished up. I will post here and send you guys a PM when I get them back from zinc plating.

Sorry to hear that your still so busy. I dont mean this in a rushing way but any idea what a time frame might be? I dont need one right this second but gettin closer to that point and just trying to plan ahead to see if this might be possible or if im gonna have to fabricate one.

or if they are already formed any chance of buying one that i can just weld and paint myself? Thanks again bro

Re: Electric Speedo Conversion Plate And Box

I made some time to work on them this evening. The plan is to take them over for plating on Thursday. That typically takes a week to have done.
