Well it was a pretty productive night.. brought the S10 chassis to the shop and starting cutting away on the inner fenders and rad support.. At the end of the night the front end was on the truck and when I let the air out it plants the fenders flat on the ground!! Back on it tonight to make the running board mounts and get the bed floor out and get the bed mounted.. Stay tuned!

Quit spying! Its not a Blazer... Just a pick up that we gave the full Porterbuilt treatment too.. Were in the process of bolting a LS1 in it and have to give the bed the treatment like we just did on our newly acquired shop truck from the board... " Browntown "

I can't believe nobody commented on the camaro with the MONSTER ProCharger...

I saw the blazer tailgate band,... and thought it was a 2wd blazer with the back half of the roof off.
Your GMC is definitely going to be nice.
You guys coming to Kansas Goodguys this year?
It's only a week away,...

Re: Project "Poison Ivy" 54 GMC

Been hammering away on the truck... I mounted the S10 brake booster and brake pedal, I used the original pedal pad so it didn't look exactly a S10 pedal... I also modified the S10 gas pedal and mounted it.. I will change the pedal pad to fit the look of the truck.. The 32" Lokar shifter is in, I just have to close off the tunnel where I cut it to clear the trans.. I made a mount for the ECM and mounted it to the right side of the firewall... Late last night I fabbed up some running board mounts and got the right board hanging.. My goal is to get the bed on this weekend and start wiring and plumbing.. I am waiting for my steering column to get here too so I get get the steering checked off the list..

Is the steering wheel going to stay that close to the dash permanently? Not criticizing, just curious...
