Thanks, Rus! I gotta drive the bus in the am, and we usually go Sun night, but I think, if we need to, that the Lord won't mind us working a bit;). I will see how much I get done tomorrow.

Re: Cubber's Build Thread

great build to follow-thanks
i find it really interesting hearing other peoples thought patterns on what to do with there projects- means i'm not the only one going backwards and forwards on which direction to go.
i had the luxury of a good running 305 to slot in mine and keep driving while i did up the i6 -292.
so far i have a fully rebuilt shortblock with 307 pistons and picked up a turbo at a swapmeet a few weeks ago and i still have the head to do so i won't rush into the swap back to 6 until i have a fully finished runnnig motor on an engine testbed.
look forward to more updates.

Thanks, man. I wanted to turbo my 6, but it seemed to be over my head. I will be excited to see how yours comes out, though.

Got called in to work this am, for an emergency. Just got home, and am waiting till 2 to see if the guy who has my motor is getting of early so I can go pick it up!! Today has been a bust so far, (truckwise) but I made some extra money, and I DID get a package in the mail, that will give my new powerplant a place to "perch" lol.

Big thanks to Rus (Rusbuilt) for his help today. We got the front end back under her, put new wheels and tires on, and got the motor unloaded and in the shop. All in all a great day! Suspension will need some slight adjustments, and motor will slide in on some new perches from my buddy thelonerife (Chuck). BTW, Chuck, I found this awesome drill bit that throws chunks like a chainsaw!:metal:

Always be glad to have ya, Chuck! I'm ready to come help you for a while, too. Maybe one day this month (if you get some stuff for Christmas), or maybe we could do a combined day for you and Rus since he can't work at his place.
