The thread title is "C10" but I haven't checked in a few weeks and clean forgot this is a 2wd - it is up there! The paint looks great, I'll have to pay closer attention to the updates. Awesome work.

Love the colors. I used Ming Blue and Birch Silver both 2008 GMC truck colors. I wish I had used pinstripes instead of the chrome molding. Roll pan looks killer too.

Re: 1985 chevy c10 swb

thx to LMC we got alot of parts shipped in on friday for the truck. mirrors, door lacthes/strikers, 32ft Roll chrome molding, misc clips, wheel well molding (the front do not fit at all. the back fit well) door handles taillights headlight bezel, parking lamp.

so this weekend we got alott put on the truck. saturday we got new windsheild and new sliding back glass in. the glass man brought the wrong window trim so he has to come back and put in a chrome one. but we got mostly everything in on the passenger side. sunday we got most of the moldings on and painted the grill, healight bezels and the rally wheels. i even took the time to tape out the centercap bowties with some 1/16inch fine line tape. finnished 2 wheels got 2 more left.

What did you do different to the centercaps?

mwooten92 03-01-2010 05:16 PM

Re: 1985 chevy c10 swb

i taped off the chrome rings around the small bowtie and outer edge and painted it all black. so its black and chrome center now. had to do something to the centercaps with out spending any money. its like 100$ for 4 bowtie decals.

Thanks
