I believe it is at about 10% under driven, I thought that might be a good range for a street truck. The fuel pump is rated at 110gph free flow with 6.5-8.0 psi.. These edelbrocks I hear like no more than 5psi? I plan on installing a AFR gauge to be on the safe side. I'm running the gears that came in the truck ( 3:73 ) but I added a posi unit. I'm sure it will be a tire fryer. Should be an experience seeing how I have never driven a blown anything before.

Just keep a close eye on the fuel press. under wide open throttle , and go easy on the timing. I have to say that once you drive a boosted car nothing else compares !

Brad - looks great! Looks like some high quality workmanship going on there.

Whereabouts in Michigan are you located (roughly)?

Sidebar: regarding that SPID label - you may want to spellcheck that before printing a bunch up.

;)

K

Jackson County about 6 miles from Michigan International Speedway. How about you?

Removed the mid-bearing support & add some welds to the trailing arms today.

I'm really considering doing those welds on my trailing arms... I just wonder how much of a difference it will make

There is only about 4 factory spot welds holding them together. I saw a post awhile back where someones had rusted and came apart! I probably should have welded the seam on the top & bottom, I only did the top.

 wow I always noticed the rivets in the middle but I never counted how many there were... I guess I will break out the arc welder and lay some beads.. Trucks looking good, keep it up

Not much has happened lately. I'm getting ready to start a new job. The cash flow has been pretty slim here for awhile.:whine:

Thanks. It would have to be a case life or death for me to get rid of this truck. I plan to start work back on it real soon! Drive shaft, cab mounts, paint the bottom of floor & fire wall and then cab can go back on for the last time.;)

Taking that outer roof skin off sure makes that inner panel repair a lot nicer. Great work!

Test fitted my roof panel today and moved my pedals back 3/4" or so.

Nice! How did the roof fit and which brand did you use?
Cool pedal Idea. I am 6-1 and might steal the idea from you...

I don't honestly remember what brand the roof was, but it did fit nicely.

3/4 - 1" off the pedals will surely make a difference.

Finished with the installation of the top. Started body work on the back of the cab. I want to spray the bottom of the cab floor so I can set the cab back on the frame for the last time! I plan on painting the bottom of the cab body color. Not really worried about stone chips and mud seeing how this isn't a daily driver.
