I'm have been looking at these wheels also and I was told by Eagle Alloys to expect an 8-12 week build time.

I'm also hoping someone with these wheels can help me out. I posted a thread over in the Suspension forum:

http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=679985

Basically, I've spoken to Eagle Alloys three times over the last couple of weeks trying to get someone to tell me the distance between the mounting surface and the back of the spokes on the 225 series wheel.

I'm going to be installing a big brake kit on my truck and I need to make sure the wheel will clear the caliper and Eagle apparently cannot provide this information. Can someone with these wheels please let me know about how much space there is from the mounting surface to the back of the spoke?

Thanks

I got the 5.5 BS as per Tommy's reccomendation at TNT Motorsports,I do not like the depth I lost on the lip and these do rub on slight bumps. According to Tommy the 4.5 BS wheels do not work on lowered trucks unless you run CPP modular spindles ( I am running BellTechs), can someone confirm this and the spindle/front drop you are at?.....Thanks!

Did you specify what BS you wanted? If you asked for 4.5 and he gave you 5.5 then I'd be upset. I'm running 4.5 front with 255/40r20 tire. 2 1/2 McGaughys drop spindles and 2" Belltech springs. No rubbing at all. I've also confirmed with others the 4.5 will work on the front.

No, this was a set he ordered in July, long before I came into the picture with this build. The 5.5 BSlooks terrible compared to the 4.5's I have seen on many of these trucks especially from the front.....looks like their bolted to the block...........well not that bad but you get my drift........:mm:
