Rob this thing has come so far since I first seen it! You have put together one sweet ride, that's for sure..

I am going to read back through the thread but what track bar did you wind up using? How is the clearance on the differential cover? I was going to use the CPP "bent" one but it's not giving me very much room at all, especially as it moves some with suspension travel range and any side load.

Crappy picture, but it's proof Rob's Farm Truck is moving under blown LS3 power! We took 'em out for a ride and stopped by the cruise night in P'cola. Even in it's unfinished state Rob's truck was a hit. Sweet ride!!:metal:

Hart Rod, if I remember correctly you are running 3.08 gears right? If so, how do you find them on the freeway. I think I am running the same and feel mine bogs a little on the freeway when I give it a touch of gas. If you are running 3.08 did you recalculate the computer for the tire and gear ratio and shift points?? If so, how does it run with the gears? I still need to have my trans computer updated for all this stuff and just wondering how it is working out for you?

I've got 4.11's with a 31" rear tire and I like the feel so far. It's real easy to change the setup, all you do is update your gear and tire size and the software does most of the work for you. You can then adjust the shift points if you want them higher or lower.

Cool, thanks for the reply. Question, does your transmission or possibly engine sound like it is spooling up when you stomp on it? Mine does and just wondering g if it was normal?

Rob is there a specific radiator you recommend for an ls swap?

Ben - I'm still working on the tune and haven't "stomped" on it yet, :), so I really couldn't tell you. But, with such a low first gear in the transmission, it winds up pretty quickly....

Rus - There's a lot of nice stuff out there, I guess it depends on the look you want and how much you want to spend. I used a factory 4-core in my 68 because I wanted a somewhat stock look. It worked great with my 383, and so far seems to be doing well with my new setup. I purchased an Entropy setup for m Suburban and it is a beautiful piece and fits great! This is probably not the answer you were looking for, but it will give you some perspective,.

Just can't beat those classic four cores. I've been running mine for four years now on two different motors gen1 sbc 350 and the nicer 96-98 sbc 350 both with a 91 suburban serpentine belt setup. Never overheated once even in car show parades in 110 degree weather.

No problem with mine so far, knock on wood, :D. I drove it to work for the first time in 10 months! Heater works great and a little quieter in the cab, :). Now I just need to tie up some loose ends and keep working on my tune....:metal:

Why does it look like a short, stubby little chevy could kick a big tall dodges azz! Looks awesome!
Did you lower the rear a couple inches during the engine swap, you might have said? Stance is perfect!

Outstanding! I'm being lazy here, but can you remind me what your current setup is?
