Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Part II
I like the lowered trucks but I do tow a couple boats and a utility trailer. I haul some weight in my truck a few times a year for yard work and hauling lumber for boat shop projects too, so hesitate to do a notch.

Had to buy something else to pull the boat after the Suburban was sold to HBO

Clean looking truck. I like the color and the naked tailgate. Never liked the big decal

I went with an old style emblem from a 60's Nova

Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Part II
I picked up this 1998 Silverado K2500 last weekend. 7.4l 4l80e. leather, power everything. 4.10s. 116K I am happy with it. it was a desert truck and the paint shows it. otherwise in very good shape and no rustiness whatsoever. there are a few things i want to change/fix, but nothing is hacked or molested much at all.

Nice looking truck. I am leaning towards swapping mine to a stepside. I have a photo shop pic of it with an older bed which is what I would like to do.

Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Part II
I just emailed a guy from Co. with a real nice old style bed for sale. It will depend on shipping cost to see if this happens. Older sheet metal is just not available around here. I have been working at making my truck look older than it is without going to a patina look. I do body work for a living and my truck is my calling card. So far the baby blue color with the old style emblems have had a few people wonder how old it is.

I'm really getting a itch for a RCSB to slam from this generation.

I usually post on the 67-72 side since that's what I fool with most, but here's my 98 Z71 that I bought one-owner in 2002. I kept if for 12 years and transferred it to my son and now it's back home. My favorite truck I have ever owned. Indigo blue on blue. Still in very nice unrestored condition.

Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Part II
Nice looking truck but I am a little biased towards the RCSB trucks. I bought mine because I was looking for a cheap truck and had no idea how nice these trucks actually run and drive. I have had mine almost 4 years and like it more the longer I own it.

Both look like clean rigs. Ah the advantages of living in the southern part of the country.
